- To support members by representing them on a range of issues relating to employment, salary grading and conditions of service.
- To provide casework, including legal and professional assistance on a variety of matters.
- To offer local and national networks to develop professional aspects of the work.
- To provide policy guidelines to inform best practice.
- To provide information and training opportunities.
- To promote members’ views to Government, political parties and other national organisations.
- To work within an equal rights policy and to challenge all forms of discrimination.
- To ensure that members with a disability have full access to the range of services offered by the Association.
