Welcome to NAYCEO

The National Association of Youth and Community Education Officers was formed in 1941 and is the only professional body providing services dedicated to managers* at all levels in youth and community education and related services.

In addition, through special arrangements, NAYCEO "full members" are also entitled to a full range of casework and trade union support.

Membership is open to managers* who work in local government, the voluntary or independent sectors or who are self employed, who also hold an appropriate qualification.

*The term manager in youth and community education includes posts with titles ranging from officer, advisor, organiser, manager, head of service, education officer etc.

The National Body for Youth Leadership consists of 7 partner organisation each committed to providing an opportunity for young people to become involved in supporting the work partners are doing and developing young people skills and knowledge . aged 16-19 available for 3 months between 6 July -25 September 2009
